  • We store transaction information in a secure facility, protected by 24x7 on site security.
  • ExpenseCloud employees pass financial and criminal background checks as a condition of employment.
  • ExpenseCloud.com is tested daily by Hackersafe.
  • ExpenseCloud hires the best security experts to conduct periodic security reviews and vulnerability assessments.


2. User Data and Expense Transactions are stored in separate, discreet, encrypted databases

  • Your credit card and bank information is not stored in our system.
  • When you intially add your credit card, we generate a unique and secure handshake with the provider instead of saving login information.
  • By keeping your login information out of our system, we remove the possibility of anyone ever leaking this information.


3. Information provided by you is optional.

  • Because your expense report usually requires your name to be on the report, we allow you to enter this information into our system, but it is 100% voluntary.
  • New users only need to enter a valid email address to get started.


4. Read only financial accounts

  • Financial accounts are a read-only service. ExpenseCloud's system cannot manipulate or transfer money from any of your financial accounts.
  • Banks are also now beginning to use two-tier logins, requiring both a username/password and a visual recognition, something we never ask you for.


5. We connect securely to your financial institutions using one or more online financial service providers.

  • Your online banking credentials are stored only with these institutions enabling ExpenseCloud to automatically and securely update your transactions and saving you from updating, syncing or uploading financial information manually.
  • All communication between ExpenseCloud and its online financial service providers is encrypted using 128-bit SSL encryption, the financial industry standard for data protection.


6. We will NEVER sell your personal data to a third party provider.

  • We don't even want it. Enter as little information as you'd like. Our goal is to automate your expense report process, not build mailing lists.
